Support Engineer – Yorkshire

Location: Home Based – Covering Yorkshire
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Car Allowance + On Call Bonus – Earn £50k
Days Based – Monday to Friday – & Call Out (Including Weekends)
The Company
My Client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of turnkey automation solutions to a wide variety of industries. With a UK wide presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within a variety of automated solutions to the oil, gas, water, manufacturing and food processing industries. Due to further expansion within the Yorkshire market, they have the need to recruit an additional support engineer.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer with Field Experience
- PLC & SCADA Knowledge, ideally with HMI Platforms
- Automated Manufacturing Process Integration Understanding
The Role
The successful candidate will be an electrical biased, multi-skilled engineer, who can install, commission and service a variety of manufacturing process integration systems within a variety of Industries. PLC & SCADA fault diagnostic knowledge is the key to the success of this role. This will be a service support based role covering the clients across the Yorkshire region. The ideal candidate will be from an engineering background, within similar systems integration understanding within an automated process, but will need to be aware that there needs to be flexibility in the role in terms of time spent travelling, as this is a field service engineering role. There is an excellent opportunity for further financial gains with overtime available for the engineers who desire, leading to earnings between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum.
