Shift Mechanical Engineer
Location: Crewe
Salary: £47,600 + Pension + Overtime
Continental Shift System 4 on 4 off days and nights

The Company
An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers to the construction markets. The company is extremely well established, with over 100 years of trading behind them and a reputation which is second to none in their marketplace.
The successful candidate will be working continental shifts using both my mechanical and electrical knowledge whilst attending break downs and provide preventative maintenance on the production lines. On a day to day basis you will be working on sensors, panels, motors, inverters and Fanuc robots.
The Role
▪ Mechanical and electrical maintenance
▪ Respond to plant breakdowns situations efficiently and effectively under time constraints
▪ Rebuild of heavy plant machinery in maintenance shutdown periods
▪ Manufacture emergency replacement components
▪ Fabrication and welding
▪ Safe disconnection of motors or motor replacements
▪ Replacement of electrical components
▪ Pneumatic and hydraulic installation and repair
▪ Diagnose faults on a vast range of plant equipment
▪ Complete planned preventative maintenance work
