Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Moreton

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 + Pension + Life Assurance + Overtime

The Company are extremely well established, and is a truly a global giant in manufacturing, with the plant in Moreton being there for over 50 years. They are looking to expand their engineering team once again due to increased growth in their market share.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of Fault Finding Mechanically
- Understanding of PPM Systems
The Role
The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with mechanical bias (but multi-skilled, ideally with an electrical qualification) and have fast moving manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you have worked on automated systems, it would be advantageous. Also, able and willing to work on labelling machines, conveyors, packaging machinery, metal detectors, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work and other associated manufacturing machinery. There is a wide variety of machinery offer to work on, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
