Multi Skilled Engineer – FMCG – Leeds

Salary: £32,000 to £34,300 + Pension + Bonus + Overtime

The Company
Based within one of the UK’s leading FMCG manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team. The facility in Leeds has been there for over 15 years and is focused around high speed deliver of orders to its blue chip clients. This manufacturing site is part of a group which has numerous manufacturing plants throughout the UK and therefore is an extremely secure group.
The Role
You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. There will be lots of fast moving machinery such as wrappers and plastics machines, together with packaging and conveyor systems.
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of Injection Moulding Automated machinery
- Understanding of PPM systems
The ideal candidate will also have experience of PLC systems as they have a variety of PLC controlled equipment on site and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment. There will be a great deal of technical development, which will aid your longer term career prospects within this instantly recognisable group.
