Based within one of the UK’s leading privately owned food manufacturing groups, they are an extremely well established manufacturing group with over 45 years of specialist food production knowledge, and they are looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of Automated Manufacturing Machinery
- Understanding of PPM Systems
The Role
You will have ideally served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, though you will ideally have some multi skilled knowledge and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working with equipment such as motors, drives, packaging, conveyors and processing machinery within a high speed automated environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience of pneumatic cylinders & valves, sensors, motors and drives within an automated environment and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment.
