My Client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist tooling, plastics and metallic industrial products. The company is a well established producer with a vast network to the global markets, having coverage in the UK, Europe, Asia and America. The Mansfield site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.
Key Skills
- A Good Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- Experience Dealing with Customers/Clients
- Knowledge of Fault Finding within an Engineering Capacity
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several manufacturing processes, liaising with all departments including design. The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer but multi-skilled and have automated machinery experience, such as valves, pipe cutting, electro-fusion equipment and couplings. You will also be able and willing to get involved in general mechanical work on pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
