Maintenance Electrician – Worksop

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 + Pension + Overtime
Panama Shift Pattern – 12 Hour Shifts
The Company
My Client is one of the UK’s leading processing & recycling companies, specialising within the plastics market, in order to supply their clients with processed materials for remanufacturing. The company is a well established producer to the global markets with over 25 year’s experience, having plants in the UK and America. The UK site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure group.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer.
- Experience Working in a Manufacturing Environment.
- Knowledge of Process/Recycling would be Advantageous.
The Role
The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, working on a number of electrical areas within an automated medium to heavy machinery environment, within a dedicated PPM schedule. The ideal candidates will come from a medium to heavy engineering background, ideally with plastics manufacturing knowledge, but this is by no means a necessity and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical bias. You will also be able and willing to be involved in general mechanical work such as welding, conveyors, crushers, grinders, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing heavy machinery.
