Lead Controls Engineer
Location: Home based
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 + Unlimited Overtime + Pension + Health Care
Days Based – Monday to Friday

The Company
My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of turnkey machinery solutions to the FMCG industry. With a worldwide presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the waste solutions industry. Due to further expansion within the British & Irish market, they have the need to recruit additional lead controls engineers.
The Role
This is a full-time Lead Controls Engineer, flexibility for full remote work. The role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of PLC automation systems. The Lead Engineer will lead a team, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure the successful integration of automation solutions
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in PLC programming and automation systems- Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi and Omron
- Experience in leading automation projects and managing teams
- Knowledge of industrial control systems and SCADA systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
