Field Service Engineer
Location: Home Based – Covering Midlands
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Pension + Company Van – Earn £55-60k
Days Based – Monday to Friday (very occasional weekend work)

The Company
My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of turnkey machinery solutions to a wide variety of industries. The company has been established for over 10 years; they have become a centre of excellence within process machinery to the FMCG industry. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional field service engineer, with electrical & mechanical service and commissioning experience.

- Experience of PLC Faut Finding
- Understanding of PPM Systems
The Role
The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer, who can install commission and service a variety of equipment, such as automated machinery within the FMCG sector, all of which are PLC controlled (mainly Siemens S7). In addition, you will be expected to understand and be able to fault find around a variety of process, packaging, and process machinery, all within the factory environment. There must be flexibility in the role in terms of time spent away from home and travelling, as this is a field service engineering role. There is an excellent opportunity for further financial gains with overtime available for the engineers who desire, leading to earnings between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum.
