Extrusion Tooling Technician – Doncaster

Location: Doncaster
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 + Pension + Overtime
Days Based – Monday to Friday

Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Technician/Machinist.
- Experience Working in Plastic Injection Moulding.
- Understanding of PPM systems
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day tooling and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. You will be from a Mechanical Tooling Engineering background, though this role is not just a Tool Maker as most of the work will be mechanical work such as milling, turning and grinding. Plastic Injection Moulding Experience is required, as this is a major part of the role. Apprentice Trained Mechanical Engineer as a minimum, ideally having tooling qualifications would be a bonus.
There will be ongoing training and development, within this structured group, which can in turn lead to future career progression.
