Job Description
Our client a leading manufacturing group supplying specialist components into the aerospace marketplace is looking to further strengthen their engineering process department.
On a functional level you will manage multiple process improvements projects, and be an integral part in reducing waste and increasing productivity by using modern manufacturing and process improvement techniques.
The candidate will poses a strong academic background qualified in a manufacturing engineering discipline and poses good knowledge of continuous improvement techniques e.g. 5’s, Kanban, Kaizan, and have knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and have a proven ability within New Product
Development.
The successful candidate will lead continuous improvement projects and will train staff in continuous improvement techniques.
Ideally you will also have practical experience within a CNC manufacturing environment from within the aerospace or automotive industry.
