My Client is one of the UK’s leading steel manufacturer, who have been established for over 30 years, supplying a wide range of industries. With a worldwide presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have recently invested into new projects within the Wednesbury site.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer/Supervisor in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in AC & DC Equipment & PLC Systems
- 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
The Role
The company require a multi skilled electrical maintenance engineer/supervisor who can work to PPM schedules, working a double days pattern. The candidate will have a minimum of a time served electrical apprenticeship, have some team leader/supervisory experience and must be able to do some PLC fault finding. The role is multi-skilled; and the work will be electrical and mechanical with a variety of production process machinery in use, such as hydraulics, 3 phase motors, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes and bearings. There will be ongoing training and support within this highly focused group will give the right candidate an opportunity to progress into larger roles within this long standing group.
