My Client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist fitted furniture and associated products. The company is a well established producer, with over 40 years of experience, to the global markets. They are looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure business with a current group turn over in excess of £100 million.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer from FMCG
- Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery
- Understanding of PPM Systems in Manufacturing
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, working on several electrical areas; with a working knowledge of automated CNC machinery, linked to a dedicated PPM system. The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy engineering background, but this is by no means a necessity and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical bias, but have some form of mechanical experience and ideally qualifications. You will be willing to be involved in general electro-mechanical work such as welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing heavy machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
