Salary: £42,000 to £45,000 + Pension + Excellent Benefits
Days Based Role – Monday to Friday

The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia, and Americas, with over 75 years experience within manufacturing. The UK site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising manufacturing efficiencies, working on several fast moving lines, driven by PLC automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy engineering background, but this is by no means a necessity and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical bias, (but multi-skilled) and have PLC/CNC/SCADA experience. You will also be involved in the maintenance of HV & LV networks, also using PLCS such as Siemens S5/S7, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi, other machinery on site consists of vacuum pump furnaces and steel forming machinery, mechanical machinery on site, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing heavy machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
